My current car: Greenwheels Peugeot 107 With some tears I said farwell to my Alfa 146 and am now driving a Peugeot 107 from Greenwheels. At the moment I don't use a car that frequent that I can account for a car at my own. Welcome Peugeot! I'm now driving a new 107 (or 207 station if necessary) from the car-sharing company Greenwheels (well-known in larger cities and agglomerates of The Netherlands, maybe a new concept to you in the outside of the world.) The principle is simple, I only pay for the 107 when I need it. When I need a car I login on the Greenwheels site, select the 107 on the corner of my street, and -when available- unlock the car with my personal transponder card and drive away. If 'my' 107 is already in use by another Greenwheels member I can choose to pick another car in the neighborhood, almost 5 cars are available within walking distance including a 207 station for 'heavy' loads. So far I'm very satisfied with Greenwheels!!! No worries about car maintenance, parking permissions & parking space, insurance, fuel cost, road taxes etc...
